The Life Education mobile classroom will be visiting Glory Farm School from 4th September-10th September 2015.
The programmes take place in a specially designed mobile classroom, equipped to provide a stimulating and exciting learning environment. The health education programmes are designed to support the National Curriculum and encourage children to develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes needed to make choices that support healthy lifestyles.
Our age appropriate programmes explore a wide range of health-related topics, beginning with hygiene and healthy eating in the foundation years, helped by our giraffe friend Harold. In subsequent age groups, we think about not only our physical health but also about emotions and feelings and how best to look after our needs and those around us. In the Junior years we aim to support the development of critical thinking skills when it comes to making important choices, extending our knowledge, skills and attitudes in relation to drugs such as alcohol, smoking and medicines.
